Riverport Medical Practice currently operates a telephone triage system. If you have requested an appointment at any of our surgeries, a clinician will call you back on the same day. Face to face appointments are offered at the clinician's discretion. 


Appointments can be requested:

  • over the telephone by calling any site
  • via Doctorlink online or app
  • or online using the SystmOnline website
  • by downloading the NHS app, no need to obtain any log in details from the Practice

You will be asked to give an indication of the problem to enable our receptionists to book you with the correct health care professional.

SystmOnline - if you are not registered for SystmOnline appointments or prescriptions please contact our Reception Team.

Doctorlink - you may register online for a Doctorlink account.

NHS app - Owned and run by the NHS, the NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. The NHS App is available now on iOS and Android. To use it you must be aged 13 and over and registered with a GP surgery in England. For more information please visit the NHS app web page


If at any time you should like there to be a chaperone present, please notify a member of our team.  Prior notice, in the event of a planned procedure, would be helpful to minimise any potential delay.


If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the appointment to someone else.

All patients are now registered with the Practice and not individual Doctors, so you are free to consult with any of the General Practitioners.
